Nissan Announce Senior Management Changes in Europe

Rolle, Switzerland (July 10, 2009) – Nissan International SA today announced several key changes to its European senior management, effective September 1st 2009.

·              Eric Nicolas, currently Senior Vice President Administration & Finance, Nissan in Europe will return to Renault for a new assignment, effective September 1, 2009.
Eric Nicolas was appointed Senior Vice President, Administration and Finance, for Nissan Europe SAS in May 2006. Previously, Nicolas served as Vice President of Corporate Planning, Business Strategy and Program Management at Nissan in North America.

Eric Nicolas was also Vice President of Corporate Finance and was the Executive Secretary of Finance for the Renault-Nissan Alliance.  He also held the position of Financial Risk Control Director and head of the Corporate Planning for Renault Credit International.

Nicolas received a Master’s Degree in econometrics from Sorbonne University Paris in 1986, a PhD in Economics and Organization Development from Dauphine University Paris in 1998 and he received a Master’s Degree in Finance at HEC Business School in Paris in 2000.

·              Takuji FUJII, currently Managing Director, RBU East is promoted to Senior Vice President Administration & Finance Nissan in Europe, replacing Eric NICOLAS. He will report to Colin DODGE, MC-AMIE Chairman and will be based in Rolle. Switzerland

The following Administration and Finance functions will report directly to Mr. FUJII: Audit, Export Sales, Finance, Information Systems, Legal and External Affairs, Corporate Planning and Organization Development

Takuji Fuji has a Bachelor degree in Law from the University of Keio. He began his career with Nissan in 1986 working for purchasing in Nissan Motors Limited. In 1993 Fujii-San’s career moved him to America based NNA where he worked as Manager for purchasing strategy. In 2000 he moved back to Japan to take the responsibility of Purchasing Strategy Manager and was in charge of Purchasing CCT. In 2001 he became Global Supplier Account Manager in RNPO and in 2005 – Senior Manager in charge of global purchasing program for A and B platform vehicles.

His next career move brought him to Europe when he was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Planning. In 2007 he was appointed Managing Director of NMR -Nissan Motors Russia.

·              Francois GOUPIL DE BOUILLE, currently Vice President Sales Operations will take up the position of Managing Director RBU East, based in Moscow, Russia replacing Mr Fujii. He will report to Simon THOMAS, SVP Sales and Marketing. His replacement will be announced in due course.

Francois Goupil De Bouille joined the automotive industry in 1987 with Ford Motor Company. He moved to Ford of Europe with a placement in Germany and returned to France in 1995 where he was Parts and Service Director and a member of the Steering Committee until 2001.

In January 2002 he joined Nissan France as Commercial Director in charge of Sales, Marketing, Network and After Sales. In November 2004 he was made Director of independent markets in Nissan Europe. In May 2005 he was promoted to Managing Director Nissan Sales Central and Eastern Europe responsible for Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and from January 1st 2006, Poland.

Francois was made Vice President of Sales Operations in April 2008.

·              Dominique CORREZE, currently VP LCV Business Unit, Nissan in Europe will return to Renault for a new assignment, effective September 1, 2009.  His responsibilities will be covered by Sergio ALCARAZ, VP AMIE LCV Business Unit.

Dominique Correze was appointed Vice President of LCV (light commercial vehicles) of Nissan Europe in November 2005 following his move from Renault. As VP, Dominique Correze monitored the launce of the Cabstar and was heavily involved with agreements with both Renault and Volvo truck companies.

Dominique graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des ponts et Chaussees.
