“Sport by Renault” at L’Atelier Renault

L’Atelier Renault on the Champs-Elysees in Paris invites visitors to enter the exciting world of auto racing and see the preview of New Megane RS from July 3 to October 25. In competition and in its vehicle range, Renault’s sporting tradition is one of the oldest in automobile history. Through this exhibition on auto racing, L’Atelier Renault is inviting visitors to discover or re-live the thrill of competition and victory, from 1964 to the present.

“Sport by Renault” presents the brand’s know-how and experience in all facets of auto racing, including Formula 1, rallies, track, and road.

30 YEARS OF FORMULA 1 VICTORIES
L’Atelier Renault is exhibiting the RS14, the fourth chassis of the single-seater RS10, which won Renault’s first victory in Formula 1 in the 1979 French Grand Prix with RS11, as well as the 2009 competition car, the R29. Thirty years after its first Formula 1 win, Renault has a world-class roster of achievements, with seven driver titles, two manufacturer titles, six engine-manufacturer titles and 113 wins.

Visitors to the exhibition can experience the thrills of auto racing through a series of actionpacked attractions. They can test their reflexes on the Batak driver training machine and try out the Formula 1 simulator, for guaranteed thrills!

FROM RALLY TO TRACK
The exhibition also features the R8 Gordini, designed in 1964 and nicknamed “La Gorde”, which opened up the pleasure of sports driving for a whole generation; the R5 Turbo, unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1978, which clocked up an impressive tally of rally wins, and the latest of the emblematic hatchbacks from the World Series by Renault, New Renault Megane Trophy.

SPORT IS CENTRAL TO THE RENAULT RANGE
Renault’s expertise in auto racing is available to consumers with the vehicles from the Renault Sport Technologies range. New Megane RS, designed as the heir to Megane F1 Team R26 and Megane R26.R, Sports Car of the Year 2007 and 2008, is being previewed at L’Atelier Renault alongside New Clio RS and Twingo RS.

Open daily from 10.30 am to 12.30 am (2.30 am on Fridays and Saturdays), L’Atelier Renault offers special events year-round themed on Renault and Renault news. With its walkways and mezzanine level overlooking the exhibition area, L’Atelier Renault also has a bar and restaurant open for lunch, dinner or to simply relax as you look out over the world’s most beautiful avenue.
