The new Lorinser RSK 6 wheel design is rolling into shops now
As if majestic aluminium wheels only look good on huge off-roaders: thanks to the shifting of the optical focus to the substructure, elegant Limousines, breezy Cabrios and racy Coupes in particular gain dynamism and presence. Sportservice Lorinser shows that it has the right design sense with the now newly available three-piece RSK 6 alloy. The focus is on the five prominent, rectangular spokes, which take up virtually the whole front of the wheel and link up with the edge of the alloy almost at eye-level. The gaps are backed on the edges of the struts by surfaces which sit deeper and increase the solidity of the RSK 6 in conjunction with the deep-set decorative screws and the wide cut middle funnel.
Regardless of whether it is a C-Class, CLK Cabrio, CLK Coupe, E-Class, E-Class Coupe, CLS, S-Class, SLK or SL: in every combination the new design guarantees a stylish ride along the boulevard and makes the high HP performances of the basic vehicle visually evident, even when the car is at a standstill. If the decision about the new RSK 6 is hard to make, then it is only because Lorinser is offering them straight away in two attractive colour combinations and each in six different dimensions. Customers who like the classical look can choose the classy silver design, which provides an elegant contrast to the dark tires. The black version on the other hand symbolises sheer, bold power. A particularly interesting interaction is caused by the fact that the spokes reach deep into the polished flange which represents the optical border with the tires. And a final point of contrast is provided by the silver decorative screws.
The design of the RSK 6 may be “a huge asset” to the vehicle, but in driving dynamics it is definitely fleet-footed. Consequently the tuned Mercedes models are at least as sporty to drive as they look. The RSK 6 is available in both colour variations in the sizes 8.5 and 9.5 x 19 inch, 9.0 and 10.0 x 20 inch as well as 9.0 and 10.0 x 21 inch.
