Dacia manufactured its 100,000th Sandero

This Wednesday, 13th May 2009, the Mioveni plant gave its 100,000th Dacia Sandero. The car, in red colour, will be sold on the Romanian market.

Since its launch in June 2008, Dacia Sandero has been sold in 38 countries. The car plant in Mioveni adapted to commercial demand by rising its daily output to 610 units. According to market, Dacia Sandero comes in several engine versions: three petrol versions (1.2 16V, 1.4 70 hp and 1.6 90 hp) and two diesel engines (1.5 dCi, 70 hp and 80 hp, respectively). A GPL version has just been launched on certain markets, such as Italy and France.

On the Romanian market, Sandero is available in 5 equipment versions, with the starting price established at 6,890 euros, tax inclusive. The Dacia Sandero range will be completed by its latest version, Stepway, revealed at the Barcelona Motor Show in May 2009.
